Welcome to New Zealand Touring
This is site is designed to be a great resource and for tips and advice if your planning to travel to New Zealand. New Zealand is a
fantastic place to vacation. Tourism bringa people world wide to land of the silver fern. For the adventurous you have ice climbing or for the tame at heart you have simple walks on the beach, to shopping. So much to do at every major town, it's very easy to
miss something. Make sure you bring plenty of film and memory cards.
I will be covering the highlights of the activities on the North Island and the South Island. Starting at the city of Auckland, down the bottom of the South
Island. There is way to much to see and do when you travel here, but I will try to get all the high points. New Zealand is one of the major tourism attractions in the world. A lot of the hotels
in New Zealand have outstanding accommodations. Some of them rival 5 start hotels in the US. So make sure you call ahead for hotel reservations.

When you get off the plane in Auckland International Airport you will notice right off the bat that New Zealand is overflowing with culture. And
the postcard views everywhere you turn. The biggest change you will see is the side of the road they drive on. Apollo Car Rentals is one of the best places to get a rental with the steering wheel on
the opposite side. I think campers is the best way to travel. You can wake up anywhere, the forest, the beach, or along side a paddock somewhere with thousand sheep. But of course staying in one of
the many hotels on they way is fine, from what I can tell there are very few bad hotels in New Zealand. Depending on what town your in a hotel reservation will not be be needed. It's easy after you have done it a few
times, but the New Zealanders are use to tourist coming over a trying to drive on the roads. You will soon notice that as you drive around from town to town, everything is clearly marked. Not just
the towns, but all the attractions and things to do.
I plan to walk you through all the major hightlights through both islands. North Island, where the city of Auckland and where the majority
of the population lives. Hitting all the major tourisim attractions on the way down the island to Wellington. Then across to the South
Island on the Interislander (shown above). A great way to see some of the coast is on the 3 hour crossing. Setting off from Picton, down through Christchurch and ending up in Milford
Sound. Will be going into detail about some of the attractions and things to do on both islands. And believe me there are alot of things to do everywhere for the young and old. New
Zealand has to one of the best vacations destinations I have every been. So many things to do you will need at least 3 weeks to see it all. Once there you will be doing some driving,
alot of the towns have some good distance between them, but will see some of the great picture postcard landscapes all around. Don't forget to find some good hotels that is out of the way. Thier
accommodations will surprise you. Check out the rest of the site as I go into some of the major towns in New Zealand.
